Great TV August 31, 2010 jackh5000 Bought this TV to replace a terrible Samsung TV of the same specifications (that broke an hour after installation) and it is a great TV - easy to install, good picture, good sound and good looking design.
LG - Loada Garbage August 28, 2010 Mr. W. Wood 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this TV on 04/06/2010 and returned it to the store I bought it from yesterday for a full refund. The picture quality is awful. I even invested in the highly recommended 'gold plated' HDMI leads to try and improve the picture but to no avail. As also mentioned in other reviews the buzzing noise coming from the back of the TV became unbearable, extremely annoying.
My advice is leave this TV well alone and for the same money I bought an LG 42inch LCD TV yesterday (as rated 5 star by nearly every customer on here) and it's fab!!!

I was a little bit sceptical about purchasing this TV due to the moaners; who state that it Hums loudly. I have experienced no such noise UNLESS i put my head directly behind the TV with the volume muted; and even then the 'Hum' is barely audable.
PICTURE - 8/10. The picture is fantastic, despite being only 720p. In the Richer Sounds showroom; I could not notice the difference between this and some much more expensive Plasma TVs. This TV has a much clearer, brighter, crisper picture than some of my Friend's more expensive LCD sets.
SOUND - 7/10. The sound is still very very good and have given it 7/10 because it is the only slightly disappointing aspect; similar to all TV's of this price and type.
GAMING - I use this TV hooked up to my XBOX 360 via an HDMI cable and the picture and experience are so visceral and intense. There is no blur, or problems at all. I much prefer gaming on plasma over other TV's.
OVERALL 9/10. Price and Performance are incredable. You will not notice the difference of 720p to 1080p unless the screen size is over 50 inches; blueray films might be an exception. Do not hesitate to purchase.
LG 42PJ350 42-inch widescreen HD ready 600Hz Plasma TV with Freeview July 3, 2010 Ms. M. P. Bradford (Fife, Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was a bit sceptical of having a 'big' telly in a room that was primarily used for music and occasionally watching TV. however, I love this product! Not only can I watch loads of channels but I can use it as a 42'' monitor for my PC and have a 42'' photo viewer! I love it! Easy to use the sound reproduction is excellent! Well worth buying!! Go buy it now and enjoy!

I've purchased this tv at another store and I bought it only because it said that it is HD ready and that you can watch DivX movies through the USB plug in. I was utterly disappointed when I've learned that it's not quite HD ready. This sort of tellies are known as EDtv, Extended digital television, in America. The remote, tv design and sound is fantastic. I think that the advert is misleading.
